A couple weeks ago I was invited to a teacher’s retirement party. I ended up in the kitchen helping out, because you can always use two more hands when you are feeding 700 people.
We filled 600 clam shell take-away boxes for 300 students and one family member with seven foods. The special guests were served about 20 foods from chafing dishes. I thought feeding 100 or so people for the Fourth of July was intense, but this was a whole different ballgame.
